" ASL "
| ASL stands for Age/Sex/Location. It's an acronym commonly used in instant messaging and online chat. Usually it is asked at the beginning of a conversation between two people who have never met before. |

| This is also known as Monster Player Kill. The act of using in game monsters to kill someone else. This is often done in MMORPGs where there is no player killing allowed. It is often against the rules as well. |
" Binaries "

" Woot "
| Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term also coincides the gamer term, "w00t". "w00t" was originally a truncated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement. "I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!" " Extreme Mario Kart "
| n. Extreme Mario Kart (ek-stream mar-e-o kart) is a new type of racing game which requires at least two players and another person of the opposite sex. The point of Extreme Mario Kart is exactly like any other Mario Kart race, to win the game. The added complexity and challenge comes from the third person, whom will distract both the driver and the person riding shotgun as they attempt to complete the race. The person of the opposite sex must be persistant, and willing to attack at any moment to get either player's attention. Using the basic rules, placing 4th or higher in any race while playing Extreme Mario Kart shows a highly talented player, or a very focused player. |

| This German word is a composite similar to Auf Wiedersehen which means "See you again!" and Auf Wiederhoren, which means "Hear you again!". Obviously, Auf Wiederschreiben means "Write you again!" and can be used at the end of friendly e-mails. |
" Sexism "
| Sexism is negative discrimination against people based on their assumed or presumed sexual identity. Sexism as a belief can refer to three subtly different beliefs: 1) The belief that one sex is superior to the other. 2) The belief that men and women are very different and this should be strongly reflected in society, language, right to have sex and the law. 3) The belief that men and women are slightly different, besides superficial biological differences. Most dictionaries regard the first two beliefs as sexist, but the third belief as generally not sexist. Some people, particularly masculists, hold that only the first belief is sexist. Most feminists also hold that the third belief is sexist. It has been suggested that some people who hold that all three beliefs are sexist in fact support laws which provide legal discrimination based on sex. |

" Coup d'etat "
| A coup d'etat (French, golpe in Spanish and Putsch in German), pronounced koo-deh-TAH (SAMPA: ku: detA:), often simply called a "coup", is the sudden overthrow of a government, usually done by a small group that just replaces the top power figures. It is different from a revolution, which is staged by a larger group and radically changes the political system. The term is French for "a sudden stroke, or blow, of a nation." Tactically, a coup usually involves control of some active portion of the military while neutralizing the remainder of a country's armed services. This active group captures or expels leaders, seizes physical control of important government offices, means of communication, and the physical infrastructure, such as streets and power plants. The coup succeeds if its opponents fail to dislodge the plotters, allowing them to consolidate their position, obtain the surrender or acquiescence of the populace and surviving armed forces, and claim legitimacy. |
